Pennsylvania HB2582 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to expand the definition of "emergency vehicle." This includes vehicles used by state or county emergency services, regional emergency medical services councils, police, correctional management, fire departments, sheriffs, ambulances, and other specified agencies. It also includes privately owned vehicles used by certain officials in responding to emergencies. The bill takes effect in 60 days.
