Pennsylvania HB2542 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to expedite appeals and tabulation of election returns. It mandates that the Supreme Court must issue a determination on appeals within seven days of filing, or seven days before the meeting of presidential electors, whichever is earlier. The Secretary of the Commonwealth must tabulate, compute, and canvass votes within five days after election day, and notify relevant officials.
