Pennsylvania HB2490 amends Title 67 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to add a section prohibiting waivers of subrogation in service provider contracts. This means that county agencies and municipal government entities cannot nullify the right of an entity providing liability coverage to seek compensation from the county agency or municipal government entity. The provision applies to contracts entered into or renewed on or after the effective date of this section.
