Pennsylvania HB247 amends Title 26 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to enhance procedures in eminent domain cases. It mandates that notice to condemnees be served by any competent adult in the same manner as in a civil action or by registered certified mail. Additionally, it requires that the petition for the appointment of viewers and the court order appointing viewers be sent by registered certified mail, return receipt requested, to all parties and mortgagees.
