Pennsylvania HB2449 amends the 1970 law to allow the Governor to permit the display of the Green Star Service Banner on Commonwealth property.

HB2449 amends the 1970 law granting the Governor sole authority over flag displays on public property to include the Green Star Service Banner. This banner honors surviving families of U.S. Armed Forces members who died by suicide. The Governor can allow its display during appropriate observances, subject to security requirements. The act takes effect 60 days after enactment.
