Pennsylvania HB2398 mandates flood evacuation plans for organized camps within 500 feet of a special flood hazard area.

Pennsylvania HB2398 requires the operator of an organized camp located within 500 feet of a special flood hazard area to prepare and maintain a written flood evacuation plan. The plan must be filed with the municipality and the county emergency management agency, reviewed and updated annually, and posted in each sleeping and dining facility within the camp premises. A copy or summary of the plan must be provided to adult campers or parents or guardians of children and youth campers before each camp season.
