Pennsylvania HB2357 amends the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to prohibit discriminatory practices in real estate transactions. It makes it unlawful to refuse to sell, lease, finance, or otherwise deny housing or commercial property based on race, color, familial status, age, religious creed, ancestry, sex, national origin, handicap, disability, source of income, or use of a guide or support animal. The bill also prohibits misrepresenting real estate availability to foster beliefs about increased or decreased residence of certain groups. The changes take effect in 60 days.
