Pennsylvania HB2352 amends the Public School Code to establish a grant program for student teachers in subject shortage areas. Eligible student teachers who complete their required student teaching in these areas will receive a minimum grant of $5,000, in addition to any other awards. The Pennsylvania Department of Education will determine the subject shortage areas using relevant data. This act will take effect in 60 days.
