Pennsylvania HB2287 exempts first-time voters aged 18 or older without a valid driver's license from paying fees for an initial identification card.

Pennsylvania HB2287 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to exempt first-time voters aged 18 or older who do not possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license from paying fees for an initial identification card, including the cost of a photograph. The Department of Transportation may request additional information to verify an individual's identity and eligibility for this exemption. This act will take effect 60 days after its enactment.
