Pennsylvania HB2183 amends Title 66 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to require public utilities, electric generation suppliers, and natural gas suppliers to inform customers about the end of fixed-rate periods. The first notice must be provided at least 60 days before the end of the fixed-rate period, with a second notice at least 30 days before the end. If a customer continues service after the fixed-rate period ends, the supplier must notify the customer every 30 days for the first three months. The notice can be included in monthly bills or interim statements.
