Pennsylvania HB2158 amends the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act by adding substances containing 7-hydroxymitragynine in specific concentrations to Schedule I. This classification applies to materials, compounds, mixtures, or preparations with 7-hydroxymitragynine at or above 2% of total alkaloid content or 1 milligram per recommended serving size. The bill also includes synthetic, semi-synthetic, or chemically manipulated forms of mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine, and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl in Schedule I.
