Pennsylvania HB208 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to detail the place and time for filing nomination petitions and establishes specific filing fees for candidates. The bill sets a $25 filing fee for candidates for the office of member of National committee or member of State committee. The fees must be paid at the time of filing, either by certified check, money order, or cash. All collected fees are to be transmitted to the county treasurer and become part of the General Fund. The act will take effect 60 days after its enactment.
