Pennsylvania HB2058 regulates the sale and distribution of kratom products, including age restrictions and labeling requirements.

HB2058 amends the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act to regulate kratom products in Pennsylvania. Processors and retailers must register with the Department of Health and renew their registration annually. Kratom products cannot be sold to individuals under 21 years of age or contain certain harmful substances. Retailers must verify the age of buyers under 35 and cannot sell kratom products from locations visible from schools or daycares. Retailers must also store kratom products in a secured area and use age verification for sales.
