Pennsylvania HB2043 prohibits possession, use, control, sale, delivery, transfer, or manufacture of certain assault weapons.

Pennsylvania HB2043 amends Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to prohibit possession, use, control, sale, delivery, transfer, or manufacture of certain assault weapons. Exceptions include members of the armed forces, law enforcement officers, and those lawfully owning an assault weapon before the effective date. The bill defines "assault weapon" to include semiautomatic firearms with specific features. The act takes effect 60 days after enactment.
