Establishes a Public Sector Workplace Safety Equipment Account to provide safety equipment for Commonwealth agencies.
Pennsylvania HB2027 establishes the Public Sector Workplace Safety Equipment Account in the General Fund. The Secretary of the Budget must transfer unexpended funds from appropriations to this account by October 1, 2025, up to a maximum of $3,800,000. The account funds the purchase and distribution of safety equipment for Commonwealth agencies with employees at risk for workplace musculoskeletal disorders.
