Pennsylvania HB2024 amends Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to enhance the training program for county directors of veterans affairs. The Office of the Deputy Adjutant General for Veterans' Affairs will establish this program in collaboration with the State Association of County Directors of Veterans Affairs. The training will cover a wide range of veteran-related topics, including trauma-informed care, military sexual trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and other forms of trauma-informed care. This act will take effect in 180 days.
