Pennsylvania HB2013 amends the Board of Vehicles Act to limit the number of new vehicle dealerships that a manufacturer or distributor can own, operate, or control to no more than five. This change applies to dealerships trading solely in electric vehicles that are not sold by a licensed independent dealer under an existing franchise. The bill also specifies that the manufacturer must have offered electric vehicles for sale for at least 12 months before this restriction takes effect.
