Pennsylvania HB193 mandates the installation of automated external defibrillators in state buildings.

Pennsylvania HB193 amends the Administrative Code of 1929 to require the Department of General Services to install and maintain automated external defibrillators in state buildings. Each building must have at least one defibrillator, with an additional one for every 70,000 square feet. These devices must be placed in conspicuous and easily accessible locations. The requirement does not apply to buildings that are not regularly occupied or in use.
