Pennsylvania HB1924 establishes oversight by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission on load forecasting by utilities.

Pennsylvania HB1924, known as the Load Forecast Accountability Act, mandates the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to oversee load forecasting by utilities. The commission must investigate the methodologies, data, and assumptions used by utilities when developing load forecasts submitted to PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. The commission is also authorized to review contracts and agreements between interconnecting customers and utilities that affect load-forecast assumptions.
