The Office of Health Equity Act establishes the Office of Health Equity within the Department of Health to address health disparities in Pennsylvania. The office will collect and analyze data to identify and track health disparities, coordinate research, and develop strategies to reduce and eliminate health disparities. It will also liaise with public and private entities to engage in collaborative strategies to address health disparities. The office will prepare an annual report on the status of health disparities and strategies to address them.
