Pennsylvania HB1830 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to regulate the use of flashing or revolving lights on tow trucks and emergency roadside service vehicles. The bill specifies that tow trucks may be equipped with yellow and white lights, while emergency roadside service vehicles may have blue lights. Blue lights can only be used when the vehicle is stationary and responding to a disabled vehicle. Yellow and white lights cannot be used when the vehicle is in motion. Unauthorized use of these lights is a summary offense with a fine of $50.
