HB1811

In property and buildings, further providing for price paid for acquisitions and improvements.

Chamber Passed·11/18/25
Introduced Text

Pennsylvania HB1811 amends the price paid for lands to be used as game lands in certain counties.

Pennsylvania HB1811 amends Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to adjust the price paid for lands to be used as game lands. For lands in counties of the second class, the commission may pay a fair and reasonable price, excluding federal and other cost-sharing funds, consistent with the market value of land in the locality. For lands in counties of the sixth, seventh, or eighth class, the price cannot exceed $400 per acre. This change aims to ensure fair compensation for landowners while considering local market values.
