Pennsylvania HB179 authorizes the provision or sale of Pennsylvania milk in Pennsylvania schools.

Pennsylvania HB179, known as the Whole Milk in Pennsylvania Schools Act, allows Pennsylvania schools to provide or sell Pennsylvania milk. Pennsylvania milk is defined as raw milk produced within the state, transported to a dairy processing facility within the state, and processed as fluid milk. The act permits school boards or governing entities to use state or local funds to offer whole or reduced-fat Pennsylvania milk. The Office of Attorney General can bring civil actions on behalf of schools to recover funds withheld or revoked due to this act.
