Pennsylvania HB1783 allows antique or classic vehicle owners to request vintage registration plates from specific years.

Pennsylvania HB1783 amends vehicle registration laws to allow owners of antique or classic motor vehicles to request vintage registration plates from the model year of their vehicle. These plates must be issued between 1906 and 1999, or later years as determined by the department, and must be provided by the vehicle owner. The owner must also pay a $75 application fee and provide necessary information for processing. The department has the authority to deny a request for cause.
