Pennsylvania HB1756 amends Title 66 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow volunteer fire companies, nonprofit rescue squads, and senior citizen centers to choose to have their electricity service rendered at residential rates. This applies to any public utility company supplying electric service in the state. The change takes effect 60 days after the act's passage.
