Pennsylvania HB1732 amends the Private Academic Schools Act to revise the application process for private academic schools. It allows schools to apply for conditional approval of licensure if they substantially comply with the act but have pending application components. Schools can apply for emergency permits and long-term or day-to-day substitute permits to ensure they have qualified staff. The State Board of Private Academic Schools must promulgate rules and standards for teacher qualifications within 180 days.
