Pennsylvania HB1705 amends the Landlord and Tenant Act of 1951 to require landlords to disclose flood risks and insurance details in written leases. Landlords must inform tenants if the property has experienced flood damage, its flood hazard area status, and whether the landlord holds flood insurance covering tenant's personal property. The Insurance Department must maintain a website with flood risk information and mitigation strategies. The act takes effect 180 days after enactment.
