Pennsylvania HB170 modifies vehicle registration, fees, and inspection rules for farm vehicles. It exempts certain farm vehicles from registration if used exclusively on farms owned or operated by the vehicle owner. The bill sets fees for farm vehicle certificates of exemption based on gross weight. It also specifies that farm vehicles with valid inspection certificates can operate without time restrictions but only on highways between farms or between farms and places of business for agricultural activities. The bill takes effect in 60 days.
