Pennsylvania HB169 establishes a program for local police departments to purchase used pursuit vehicles at a fixed price.

Pennsylvania HB169 amends the Administrative Code of 1929 to create a program for the sale of used pursuit vehicles. The Department of General Services will manage the program, allowing local or regional police departments to purchase select used pursuit vehicles at a fixed price. The Pennsylvania State Police will allocate up to 10% of its inventory for this program. Payment must be made prior to obtaining the vehicle, and it will be accepted by organization check only. The department will notify local police departments when vehicles matching their submitted descriptions become available.
