Pennsylvania HB1666 amends financial responsibility laws, updating minimum coverage requirements and notice provisions for motor vehicle insurance.

Pennsylvania HB1666 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to update financial responsibility laws. It revises the definition of "financial responsibility" to include higher minimum coverage amounts for bodily injury and property damage. Insurers must now offer higher limits of uninsured, underinsured, and bodily injury liability coverages, up to $100,000 for one person injured in an accident and up to $300,000 for two or more persons injured. It also mandates that insurers provide at least $25,000 for damage to property of others in any one accident.
