Pennsylvania HB1614 repeals laws prohibiting Sunday hunting and removes penalties for Sunday hunting without landowner permission.

Pennsylvania HB1614 amends game and wildlife protection laws by repealing provisions that prohibit hunting on Sunday and remove penalties for hunting on Sunday without landowner permission. The bill allows for one Sunday of deer hunting during the deer rifle season, one Sunday during the Statewide deer archery season, and one additional Sunday as determined by the commission. The bill also removes penalties for hunting on Sunday without landowner permission, except for those hunting on private land without permission. The changes take effect in 60 days.
