Pennsylvania HB1434 amends Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to further provide for the offense of selling tobacco products to minors. The bill imposes penalties on retailers who violate this law. For a first or second offense, the retailer must pay a fine of $5,000. For a third offense, the retailer must pay the same fine and face permanent revocation of their cigarette license. The act will take effect 60 days after its passage.
