Pennsylvania HB1374 amends the Department of Health fees to charge $20 for second and subsequent certified copies of birth records within a four-year period. The bill allows individuals to obtain one initial certified copy of a birth record at no cost upon application. After the initial copy, individuals can request additional certified copies every four years without charge. The Department of Health will charge $20 for any additional certified copies requested within the four-year period.
