Pennsylvania HB1228 amends the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists to ensure that no more than two members specialize in any one of the five major disciplines of engineering: civil, mining and metallurgical, mechanical, electrical, and chemical. The board must include three public representatives and nine professional members, with specific requirements for their qualifications and residency. Each professional member must be a U.S.
