Pennsylvania HB1227 amends the Crane Operator Licensure Act to revise the terms and qualifications for State Board of Crane Operators members.

Pennsylvania HB1227 amends the Crane Operator Licensure Act to change the terms and qualifications for State Board of Crane Operators members. Professional and public members are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate, must be U.S. citizens and residents of Pennsylvania, and can serve up to two consecutive four-year terms. Members cannot serve more than six months beyond the four-year period. If a member leaves office early, a successor is appointed. The changes take effect 60 days after the act's passage.
