Pennsylvania HB1225 amends the Nursing Home Administrators License Act to revise the State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators. The board will consist of fifteen members: six nursing home administrators, three members representing the care of chronically ill and infirm aged patients, three members representative of the consumer, and the Secretary of Health or his designee. The bill also modifies the qualifications for admission to examination, allowing the board to issue a temporary permit to an applicant who meets certain criteria and pays a fee.
