Pennsylvania HB1205 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to define mini trucks, set financial responsibility requirements, and exempt them from certain inspections. Mini trucks must be covered by financial responsibility in the amount of $15,000 for injury to one person in any one accident and $30,000 for injury to two or more persons in any one accident. They are exempt from equipment requirements not listed in the bill and from purchasing other insurance coverages. Mini trucks are exempt from obtaining an official certificate of inspection and from emission inspections.
