Pennsylvania HB111, also known as Lloyd's Law, prohibits insurers from taking adverse actions against applicants or enrollees based solely on prior or current claims or prescriptions for opioid overdose reversal agents. Adverse actions include denying, canceling, or refusing to renew insurance coverage, limiting the amount or kind of coverage, or charging different rates. The law defines adverse action and specifies that it applies to individual applicants, enrollees, or groups.
