This Act creates the Blue Economy Task Force to study Oregon's blue economy and submit a report to the Legislative Assembly by September 15, 2027. The task force will identify sectors, economic development plans, and opportunities for sustainable growth. It also authorizes the Oregon Ocean Science Trust to create a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax. The act takes effect 91 days after the 2026 legislative session ends.
