Oregon HB4150 prohibits state contractors and grant recipients from transporting individuals for deportation.
Oregon HB4150 mandates that state agencies require prospective contractors and grant recipients to attest they do not transport individuals detained by federal agencies for deportation, except under federal court orders. If a state agency determines the attestation is false, the contractor or grant recipient must repay the grant moneys. Contractors found in violation are disqualified from state contracts for three years. The Act declares an emergency, effective upon passage.
