Oregon HB4104 allows the Oregon Business Development Department and the Governor to award grants and loans from the Oregon Fostering Innovation Strength at Home and CHIPS Fund to businesses eligible for federal semiconductor financial assistance under the CHIPS Act but have not applied for it. The bill expands the types of businesses that may receive these grants and loans. It renames the Oregon CHIPS Fund as the Oregon Fostering Innovation Strength at Home and CHIPS Fund. The bill declares an emergency, effective on passage.
