Oregon HB4083 establishes a centralized credentialing portal for behavioral health providers and transfers administrative oversight of the State.

Oregon HB4083 mandates the Oregon Health Authority to create a centralized portal for processing credentialing applications for behavioral health providers by June 30, 2027. The Act also transfers administrative oversight of the State Board of Licensed Social Workers to the Mental Health Regulatory Agency. The new agency will provide administrative and regulatory oversight and centralized service for the State Board of Licensed Social Workers. The Act allows certain licensed behavioral health care providers to supervise other behavioral health care providers who hold different licenses.
