Oregon HB4036 establishes a fund for affordable housing preservation and evaluates operational impacts.

Oregon HB4036 creates the Housing Opportunity, Longevity and Durability Fund in the State Treasury, separate from the General Fund, to support affordable housing preservation. The fund will receive interest on its deposits and moneys from bonds issued by the State Treasurer. The Housing and Community Services Department must submit a report to the Legislative Assembly evaluating the impact of state laws and department practices on affordable housing operations and offering improvements.
