Oklahoma SJR6 proposes constitutional amendments to change the appointment process for the Commissioner of Labor, requiring the Governor to appoint the Commissioner with Senate consent. It also removes term limits for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Auditor and Inspector, Attorney General, State Treasurer, Commissioner of Labor, and Superintendent of Public Instruction, allowing them to serve up to eight years in total. The changes apply to terms served before and after the amendment's passage.
