Oklahoma SJR4 proposes a constitutional amendment to modify the prohibition on public money used for religious support.

Oklahoma SJR4 seeks to amend Section 5 of Article II of the Oklahoma Constitution. The amendment would change the current prohibition on public money used for sectarian or religious support to only prohibit direct financial support or benefit of any sect or religious institution. The proposal will be referred to the people for approval or rejection.
