Oklahoma SJR30 proposes a constitutional amendment to reduce the limit on growth of fair cash value for real property.

Oklahoma SJR30 proposes a constitutional amendment to reduce the limit on the percentage of fair cash value for real property. The amendment would reduce the limit from five percent to three percent for tax years 2027 and beyond. The amendment also includes provisions for assessing property value when improvements are made or when title is transferred. The Secretary of State would refer the amendment to the people for approval or rejection.
