Introduced·2/3/25
Int Text

Oklahoma SJR11 proposes a constitutional amendment to affirm the necessity of a well-regulated militia and the right to bear arms.

Oklahoma SJR11 seeks to amend Section 26 of Article 2 of the Oklahoma Constitution to explicitly state that a well-regulated militia and the right of citizens to keep and bear arms are essential for the state's security. The proposed amendment would prohibit any infringement on this right. If approved, it would be put to a vote in a legislative referendum.
