Oklahoma SJR10 proposes a constitutional amendment to expand ad valorem tax exemptions for veterans and their surviving spouses. The amendment would provide full exemptions for household personal property and the full cash value of the homestead for honorably discharged veterans and unremarried surviving spouses. The amendment would apply to tax years starting from 2026. The proposal includes a ballot title and directs the Secretary of State to refer the amendment to the people for approval or rejection.
