Oklahoma SB96 prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution of cultivated meat within the state.

Oklahoma SB96 amends the Oklahoma Meat Consumer Protection Act to prohibit the manufacture, sale, or distribution of cultivated meat, also known as cell-cultured meat. This includes any food product developed from animal cell cultures. The State Board of Agriculture will create rules to enforce this prohibition. The act takes effect on November 1, 2025.
