SB861 amends Oklahoma law by updating the statutory language and references related to gang-related offenses. It specifies that any person who attempts or commits such offenses as a condition of membership in a criminal street gang or while in association with any criminal street gang or gang member shall be guilty of a felony. The penalty for conviction includes incarceration in the custody of the Department of Corrections for a term of five years, in addition to any other imposed penalty.
